All Women Aren’t Naturally Nurturing and Shouldn’t Be Mother’s

In Pt.3 of this reasoning on I Never Knew TV, Neriah Shiloh challenges traditional expectations surrounding Black women, motherhood, femininity, and family. Drawing from her personal experiences, Shiloh discusses the difference between providing for children and being emotionally nurturing, the historical expectations placed on Black women, and why choosing not to have children should not be viewed as a failure. The conversation also examines how society defines success, marriage, motherhood, and the American Dream, raising important questions about whether Black people should continue measuring their lives against standards that may not reflect their own values and circumstances.
